How it Works

Data is collected from across an organization. Sources may include Accounts Payable, purchase card and credit card statements, ERP and EAM. The raw data is processed to generate a standard import data file.

The aggregate spend data is then imported into the Utility Spend Intelligence Center, which houses PowerAdvocate's market-leading database of categories and suppliers. Using category mapping rules, proprietary classification tools, and a three-tiered category taxonomy, raw data is re-organized and enriched to make it useful for decision makers.
